I am a published author, commisioned playwright and award-winning performance poet. A National Spoken Word Champion and World Finalist, I have extensive experience in public speaking in wonderful and wildly exciting environments. In 2016, I won the National Slam Poetry Championship and competed in the World Poetry Slam final representing England in Paris. I built my confidence as a performer through exploring the Open Mic circuit and finding any opportunity I could to practice sharing my poetic voice without shame. My writing asks questions about being alive, nature, identity, mental health, gender, love and more.
